Arc the Lad: End of Darkness, known in Japan as the arc Lad Generation, is a role-playing video game in 3D developed by Cattle Call for PlayStation 2 (PS2). This is the second and final game of the series Arc the Lad console, the first is Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits. This is the fifth and final game of the series.Arc the Lad: End of Darkness takes place five years after Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits, and reuse a lot of settings, characters, enemies, and music from the previous game. The world has a lot of new technology and the working class and less full of racial tension between Deimos (intelligent beings) and Man. However, the world's major natural resource Arc, Spirit Stones, which is almost gone, and there is uncertainty about the future and Human Deimos.
It is the only game Arc uses real-time battle system, not tactics-based battle system. Generally, this is seen as a step backwards for the series due to poor execution. Arc also features online play with up to 8 players to play in the death of 4-one match-4 or 4-person co-op. However, the server handed down in June 2006.
